Fiji at Virginia Tech is very involved socially on and off of campus, and
puts on as well as participates in social events year-round. We coordinate
socials or mixers with all of Virginia Tech's sororities which usually
involve a themed get-together with each; allowing brothers and sorority
members to meet new people while having a great time!

In addition to regular socials, Greek organizations such as FIJI have the opportunity to participate in Homecoming each year. Homecoming is a week of parties, socials, float building, and service events all leading up to the Homecoming game and parade; definitely not a week to miss!

Another event held annually is the Foxfields Horse Races in Charlottesville. We all board busses in the most ridiculous pastel attire to party in a field with thousands of other college kids from around the area; trust us you don't go for the horses!

Black Diamond is our semi-formals. This is a great oppotunity for us to dress up sharp, impress our dates, and have the time of our lives away from school. In the past, we have taken trips to Smith Mountain Lake and Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Every year we go back to our roots with our Fiji Toga party, but that is just one of our date functions. We have numerous others throughout the year, each with an equally fun theme.

Last and certainly not least is the notorious Fiji Islander, an event we hold every year with one sorority which we invite to accompany us during the three day "holiday". From parties, socials, and even some community service, FIJI Islander is better than Christmas.
