We are in college first and foremost to learn. Our motto "Scholarship, Fraternity, Self" serves as a guideline for our daily priorities. Maintaining high academic standards is of utmost importance.
Consistently performing in the top 5 fraternities on campus, the Rho Alpha chapter has made a name for itself in the world of academics. With the top grades on campus, Fiji won the 2006 Greek Award for excellence in academics, beating out 35 other chapters on campus for this coveted prize. Fiji has a self-regulated scholarship program that creates the ideal academic environment and gives each member an opportunity to seek help from the brotherhood when needed.
There are two main scholarships that are offered by our fraternity. The first scholarship is open to anyone who rushes our fraternity and is for the amount of $300. The recipient of this scholarship is selected based upon an application process and they are not required to pledge in order to receive the scholarship. The second scholarship is in the amount of $250 and is rewarded to all pledges who attain a 3.0 or better GPA during their pledging semester.
